The last step is go to properties by right clicking Railroads3GB.exe then put compatability for windows 7 and higher set on Windows XP (service pack 3) and run it as your administer it should run flawlessly now for just the original game i have quite a few mods on mine and it works fine. if your trying to run a map i can help with getting it to work. cut your original exe and place it in a safe place then cut your new exe and past where old exe was cut from.
